Great Coasters combined the best features of an "out & back" and "twister" to create Renegade, Valleyfair's 8th roller coaster. Standgin 104-feet tall, Renegade begins with a nine-story drop to reach a top speed of 52 miles-per-hour. The track spans 3,113 feet and features 19 turns and 10 crossovers. Guests experience a two-minute ride that includes a never-before-experienced twisting first drop, a low-to-the-ground, high-speed S-turn and a high-speed station fly-by. Renegade will be located in the northwest quadrant of Valleyfair – back in the wooded area north of the Thunder Canyon water ride.
