Powder Keg is themed in the history of the miners of Silver Dollar City's great Marvel Cave over 100 years ago. Powder Keg is an electrifying ride that sends its riders through a black powder mill of yesteryear before launching them from zero to 53 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds.
This roller coaster is interesting since it combines a portion of the park's former Buzzsaw Falls water coaster from Premier Rides with new sections from S&S Power to form a brand new coaster.
