X2, Six Flags Magic Mountain
X2 begins with what is arguably one of the coolest first maneuvers for a roller coaster ever. The 4D design means the seats can rotate forwards and backwards and even flip, so here riders are slowly rotated into a face-down position, revealing the ground far below, before plunging down this huge first drop. The result is terrifyingly fun.
