Stratosphere Las Vegas is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. The tower stands 1,149 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. Guests enjoy a panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip and valley from either an indoor or outdoor observation deck. There is also a revolving lounge, restaurant, meeting & banquet space and private dining rooms.
Stratosphere Tower is also known for its assortment of daring thrill rides perched atop it. At over 900-feet above the ground thrill seekers can scream with excitement on the Big Shot, X Scream and Insanity thrill rides. The tower originally opened with a roller coaster appropriately named High Roller, but it has since been removed.
