This theme park uses the theme of Hollywood movies for its five areas and for many of the park's rides and attractions. Movie Park Germany is also the location of Movie Park Studios, a five hectares studio used for many German and European film productions.
Since its opening in 1967, this German theme park has operated under six different names. Most recently the park was called Warner Bros. Movie World Germany.
