After 30 years Libertyland closed due to financial problems. The last day of operation was October 29, 2005. Presently, there are no plans to reopen the amusement park. Libertyland is best remembered for its flagship attraction the Zippin' Pippin roller coaster, which was said to be a favorite of Elvis Presley.
