Editor's Pick – Tucked away in a quiet valley in Central Pennsylvania is Knoebels Amusement Park & Resort, a historic amusement park, that has been owned and operated by the Knoebel family since 1926. The park has no main entrance, gate or fence, so therefore, no admission fee and parking is free, as well.
Found throughout the park's wooded grounds are more than 50 different rides, including two top-rated wooden roller coasters, the famous Haunted Mansion for fright lovers, log flume, bumper cars, flying scooters and a historic brass ring Carousel. Rides are pay-as-you-go with tickets or you can buy a pay-one-price, handstamp on weekdays. On warm summer days the entire family can cool off in the "Crystal Pool" swimming pool and waterslides.
