Nightmare Mine was an enclosed Galaxi coaster that operated in total darkness at Frontier City for two seasons&ndash 1999 and 2000. After closing the mine, the roller coaster remained inside the building for a couple of years before being dismantled and placed in storage in the park's bone yard, where it remains today. The building is now used for the Frontier City's seasonal Halloween event. Prior to 1999, a different Galaxi-Zyklon coaster operated in the building under the same name Nightmare Mine.
