Are you ready to fall... freefall... while riding on a roller coaster...
Sound intimidating?
For some it may be, but for the rest this is a unique experience found at only two theme parks in the world.
In March, Janfusun Fancyworld in Taiwan unveiled their latest ride designed to scare the pants off people, Diving Machine G5. Lost among all the hype of the more than forty new coasters being built in the US this year. G5 is however the talk of Taiwan.
Also known as a vertical dive coaster, this awesome thrill ride, drops sixteen riders at a time straight down a near vertical (87.5 degree) 180 foot drop! Imagine having to stomach that one.
The world's first vertical drop coaster opened two years ago at Alton Towers in the United Kingdom. G5 is a mirror replica of the original.
If you've ever wanted to visit Taiwan, now you have one more reason to do so. Next time you're in southeast part of Asia, I am sure you will drop in to Janfusun Fancyworld for maybe one, or two, or a dozen falls on G5.
Now check out some photos of G5.
