Universal Studios Hollywood creates a heavily themed, immersive experience while riding a high-tech, state-of-the-art steel roller coaster. Revenge of the Mummy The Ride is a launched, multielment, indoor steel roller coaster that takes riders on a wild ride themed after The Mummy movies. Several dark ride style rooms begin the story before the trains escape a Mummy attack by being launched into complete darkness. Here you experience a series of dips and high-speed turns before coming to a sudden stop. After another Mummy encounter the trains are launched again, this time backwards through darkness before entering the final show room. A unique rotating turntable reverses the trains direction before returning to the loading station.
