This massive wooden roller coaster at La Ronde stands 13 stories tall and features a dual-track, twister layout. Designed as a racing coaster, the train on each track will race throughout the roughly 4,000-foot-long course. Monstre's twisted layout includes 12 crossovers.

Track One length is 3,996 feet; Track Two is 4,026 feet

2013 – Monstre's original 28-passenger, 7-car Morgan California Style Trains replaced with new trains from PTC.

1986 – The second track opens.

1985 – Le Monstre opens with one track.

Opening date: July 20, 1985

Train has five cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.
