One of four original roller coasters at Canada's Wonderland. This traditional out and back wooden coaster was modeled after the Shooting Star at Cincinnati's Coney Island. Once an "air-time" machine, Mighty Canadian Mine Buster has unfortunately been modified several times, removing several hills to allow for access to and expansion of the adjacent waterpark.
The roller coaster begins with a ninety degree, right turn off the lift hill followed by an eight-story drop. After racing out and back, the ride concludes with a helix in a dark tunnel before entering the brake run. Sadly, Mighty Canadian Minebuster is a mediocre wood roller coaster by today's standards.
