Located in the British Invasion area of Hard Rock Park, Maximum RPM! was a high-speed roller coaster ride in English-style convertible sports cars. Dominating the attraction was a first-of-its-kind Ferris wheel structure that carried the cars up to the apex of the roller coaster instead of a traditional lift hill.
Unfortunately, Hard Rock Park and Maximum RPM were shut down after its first season of operation. The roller coaster re-opened for a second season under a new name Round About before closing again.
