Looping Star has closed and been removed from Beech Bend Park.

This is a Pinfari production model single loop portable steel roller coaster. Looping Star features a three-story descent into a 33-foot high vertical loop.

Looping Star Facts & History

America's largest portable amusement ride.

1985 – Built and traveled with Amusements of America prior to being sold to Beech Bend.

2001 – Relocated to Beech Bend.

Fall 2005 – Dismantled to make room for the park's new wooden roller coaster. The coaster's two original trains were retired.

2006 – Looping Star has been moved and rebuilt. A new high-tech train was purchased that will reduce the height requirement for the ride to 48 inches.

Sep 2009 – Looping Star closed

Train has three cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.

Height requirement: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall
