The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expands to Universal Studios Florida in 2014 with Diagon Alley and the flagship attraction – Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. Themed to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, this ride is built inside a 75,000 square-foot building. Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is a combination roller coaster and dark ride that incorporates 3D projection technology to assist in the storytelling. Park guests will enter through the bank lobby complete with goblins working and then make their way through a long, underground, cavernous network of tunnels. Seated four-abreast, the trains will navigate their way through the perils of the Gringotts vaults where riders will have a close encounter with a dragon and experience a sudden, unexpected plunge.
