Playland's Castaway Cove built a new roller coaster for 2017 – GaleForce. This 1launching steel coaster will have a double out and back layout featuring a beyond-vertical drop, seven thrilling elements, and will launch the train three times to accelerate it up over the 125-foot tall top hat. GaleForce is being custom built by S&S Worldwide.

2017-2018 – During the winter the roller coaster will undergo a complete track replacement. It's unconfirmed, but there is believed to have been a problem with the gauge of the track creating a rough ride experience.
2016 – Scheduled to open, but opening delayed for a year.

Individual car has three rows each, seating four abreast per row.
