One of the attractions in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Flight of the Hippogriff is a family coaster that's perfect for adults and young thrill-seekers alike, especially those who are not yet tall enough or brave enough to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coasters.
Built on the grounds of Hagrid's Hut, as you walk through you'll hear Fang barking. Before you embark on the ride, Hagrid will give you instructions on the proper way to approach a Hippogriff. This magical creature has the front legs, wings, and head of a giant eagle and the body, hind legs, and tail of a horse.
Flight of the Hippogriff takes flight with riders flying over the pumpkin patch and a finale pass by Hagrid's hut. This family coaster is not too tall, nor fast and features a twisted layout with several helicies.
