LEGOLAND Florida's The Dragon is combination dark ride and family roller coaster. After the dark ride portion the coaster climbs a four story lift hill and begins a thrilling journey on a twisted layout with speeds reaching 29 miles-per-hour. When LEGOLAND Florida acquired this Vekoma "Roller Skater" coaster that was left behind from the old Cypress Gardens Adventure Park they extended it by adding the dark ride section before the original lift hill to create the new ride experience. The Dragon is one of the signature LEGOLAND® rides found at their theme parks.
