Cyclone Facts & History

Schwarzkopf 54-meter Wildcat model

Fact: Cyclone opened at Riverside Amusement Park, now Six Flags New England in 1974 where it was called the Wildcat and operated through 1983.

1984 – Relocated to defunct Rocky Point Park in Warwick, Rhode Island and renamed Cyclone.

1996 – Relocated to Sandspit Cavendish Beach.

Individual car has two rows each, seating two abreast per row.
