This Vekoma Corkscrew coaster with a bayerncurve sends riders upside down twice and was the first modern steel roller coaster at Playland at the PNE. Corkscrew is also notable since it starred in the 2006 movie Final Destination 3.

Corkscrew Facts & History

Fact: Originally opened at Boblo Island in 1984 where it was called Screamer.

1994 - Relocated to Playland at the PNE and renamed Corkscrew

Inversions: Double Corkscrew

Train has six cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.

Height requirement: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall
