The first roller coaster in the world to use Intamin prefabricated wood track. Colossos opened to rave reviews and drew roller coaster enthusiasts to Heide Park from all over the world. The coaster begins with a steep, 159-foot descent and follows a "out and back" layout with a dog leg. Starting with the first drop and continuing hill after hill, riders experience incredible, floating airtime! With all of these negative G-forces, it's no surprise that Colossos has many fans and has been recognized as one of the world's top wood roller coasters.
