Intamin stand-up roller coaster with a 66-foot tall vertical loop. Batman The Escape debuted at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 1984, but called Astroworld home from 1993 to 2005.

Batman The Escape Facts & History

1996 – Originally built at Six Flags Magic Mountain where it operated under the name Shockwave.

1998 – Relocated to Six Flags Great Adventure.

1993 – Relocated to Six Flags Astroworld and renamed Batman The Escape.

October 30, 2005 – Batman The Escape ends its run at Six Flags Astroworld when the park closed its gates forever.

Train has five cars with one row each, standing four abreast per row.

Height requirement: Riders must be at least 54 inches tall
