Alpine Bobsled at The Great Escape is a "Bobsled" type of roller coaster that is unique and increasingly rare. This steel variation of the wooden "Flying Turns" coaster, has a trough or half-pipe track that allows the car to roll and move within the track. Each ride on this roller coaster is unique since the experience will vary based on the number and weight of the riders in the car. Alpine Bobsled is also well loved for it's minimal height requirement (42") that affords young thrill-seekers a chance to ride a full size roller coaster.
