Afterburner is the original Arrow prototype Launched Loop shuttle coaster from Circus World (Boardwalk & Baseball). Unfortunately, Fun Spot and this roller coaster shut down after the 2008 season and after standing but not operating for 9 years this roller coaster was dismantled and removed.

Afterburner Facts & History

Inversion: Vertical Loop

Jan 2017 – Afterburner is dismantled with parts and train shipped to Fontier City (Oklahoma City, OK) for use on Diamondback.

2009-2017 – Standing-but-not-operating (SBNO)

1991-2008 – Afterburner operated at Fun Spot

1991 – Relocated from Boardwalk and Baseball where it operated as the Zoomerang from 1977 to 1990.

Train has four cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.

Height requirement: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall
