Superman The Escape was the tallest (415 feet), fastest (100 mph) thrill ride on the planet in 1997.

Superman is called a reverse freefall, but may be considered a shuttle coaster as well.

Superman's 15 passenger trains are launched from 0 to 100 mph in just seven seconds!

This ride uses state of the art linear synchronous motors to accelerate the six ton vehicles.
