Six Flags, Inc. announced on February 4, 2010 that Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom would be closed.

This 58-acre park located on the State Fairgrounds in Louisville, Kentucky was a combination theme park and waterpark. The former list of attractions included seven roller coasters, family rides, live entertainment and the Looney Tunes MovieTown with amusement rides for kids.

The adjacent Six Flags Splashwater Kingdom waterpark was included with admission and featured a water coaster, interactive water play structure, 750,000-gallon wave pool, Tornado tube ride and lazy river.
