SeaWorld San Diego
San Diego, California
SeaWorld San Diego is the number one tourist attraction in San Diego. Located on more than 150 acres in San Diego's Mission Bay, SeaWorld, is an adventure park with shows starring the park's beloved marine mammals, animal exhibits, themed thrill rides and for children, the Sesame Street characters.
SeaWorld San Diego is both educational and entertaining. A visit is not complete without seeing the Shamu Show: Believe, featuring the park's impressive killer whales. All new this year is Blue Horizons show that combines dolphins, birds and acrobatic performers. The park also has the comedy-due Clyde and Seamore in Sea Lions LIVE, Sesame Street Presents: Lights, Camera, Imagination for children, and the summertime show – Cirque de la Mer.
Some of the park's animal exhibits include the 280,000 gallon Shark Encounter walk-through aquarium, Wild Artic exhibit with beluga whales, polar bears and walruses, and Rocky Point Preserve where you can interact with and feed bottlenose dolphins and California sea otters. During the summer months, the park presents a nightly fireworks display.
For more excitement, SeaWorld San Diego has Journey To Atlantis, a combination water flume ride and roller coaster, Shipwreck Rapids white water raft ride, observation Skytower and several family rides for children.
