Universal Studios Hollywood advertises itself as "The Entertainment Capital of L.A." and includes a movie-based theme park, Studios Tour, Universal CityWalk entertainment, shopping and dining complex and more. The signature attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood is the Studio Tour - Behind-the-Scenes Tram Ride. This unique opportunity takes guests on a journey through the world-famous Universal Studios Backlot. Attractions on the Studio Tour include King Kong, Earthquake - The Big One, Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, Jaws Lake, and The Fast and the Furious Extreme Close-up. You'll also see working soundstages and sets, movie facades and recreated streets of the world. You may even get the chance to spot a star or see the shooting of a live film or television program.

Universal's theme park offers many thrilling and groundbreaking rides, shows and attractions. Universal brings some of Hollywood's biggest movies to life in rides like Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park and Back to the Future - The Ride. You'll be entertained with exciting shows and attractions like Shrek 4-D, Backdraft, Terminator 2: 3D, Waterworld - A Live Sea War Spectacular and Univeral's Animal Actor show.

Just outside the theme park is Universal CityWalk featuring 65 entertainment-themed restaurants, nightclubs, shops and entertainment spots. AMC Universal CityWalk Cinemas, offers the best movie-going experience in Los Angeles with 19 screens including an IMAX Theatre and newly renovated stadium-style seating.

Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk is located 20 minutes north of downtown Los Angeles off the 101 Hollywood Freeway.

From LAX Airport proceed east on the 105 Freeway. Take the 110 Freeway north, to the 101 Hollywood Freeway north and exit Universal Studios Blvd.

From Orange County take Interstate 5 north to the 101 Hollywood Freeway North and exit Universal Studios Blvd.
