Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Texas

Arlington, Texas

More than three million gallons of water rides and activities await the entire family at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Texas. This 47-acre waterpark near Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington offers water slides and attractions for all ages, including 26 slides, an interactive water playground, lazy river and a large wave pool.

Kids can explore Hook's Lagoon, featuring a 40,000 square-foot, five level water play structure, three lagoons, a pirate ship and 150 interactive water features. There are net ladders, water slides and water cannons to blast, plus every few minutes a giant water bucket perched high above dumps 1,000 gallons of water drenching all who stand below.

What's a waterpark without water slides? Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Texas has a large collection to suit a variety of interests. The park's newest attraction, Tornado takes riders down a 132-foot long enclosed slide to enter an oversized 75-foot funnel while riding on a four-person inner tube. The park's water roller coaster Sea Wolf is a 830-foot long, 100-foot tall water jet propelled slide, that is the tallest, fastest ride of its kind. Dare devils can try Geronimo, a six-story freefall drop slide that goes nearly straight down. The Black Hole, has two 500-foot-long twisting tubes that begin from a black flying saucer.

Body boarders will want to check out the Surf Rider that creates a perfect wave to ride out of water rushing at 24,000 gallons per minute. For relaxing, Surf Lagoon is Six Flags Hurricane Harbor's one million gallon wave pool that covers more than an acre where you can ride waves up to four feet high. You can also soak up the sun while cruise the gentle currents of the meandering Lazy River on an inner tube.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is fully staffed with professionally trained lifeguards.
