Belmont Park offers family fun and entertainment on nearly a dozen rides, amusement park games, shops and oceanfront restaurants. San Diego's historic beachfront amusement park located beside Mission Beach opened in 1925. The park's most distinctive attraction, the recently restored Giant Dipper roller coaster is one of two original oceanfront roller coasters still operating on the west coast. The park's historic Plunge, built in 1925, is the largest indoor public swimming pool in Southern California.
