Located on the northeast corner of Des Moines metro area is Adventureland Amusement Park, Iowa's largest and most complete family resort complex. Operating since August 1974, the park offers over 100 rides, shows and attractions, including three exciting roller coasters. Adventureland is located off exit 142A of I-80, along U.S. Highway 65, near Altoona, just East of Des Moines.
