Lake Winnepesaukah

This traditional amusement park with Southern charm is on the border of Georgia and Tennessee, just a few miles from Chattanooga. Lake Winnepesaukah or Lake Winnie gets its name from the lake it surrounds and has been operating since 1925. The park has a selection of classic amusement rides, along with some newer thrill rides. Some of the historic attractions at Lake Winnepesaukah are the thrilling Cannon Ball wooden coaster, a 1916 PTC antique carousel and the last remaining Old Mill dark boat ride with a drop that was built in 1926.
