After a four-year hiatus Ghost Town in the Sky reopened in 2007, but initially without its signature attraction the Cliff Hanger roller coaster which resumed operation in June 2009.

Unfortunately, the tough economic situation forced the park to close again after the 2009 season. The future of the park is unknown.
