Astroland

Little remains of what used to be New York City's largest amusement park. Astroland, located on the world famous Coney Island Boardwalk, closed at the end of the 2008 season, but what remains is the landmark Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster. This world famous attraction on the corner of Surf Avenue and West 10th Street is open weekends from Palm Sunday through September, and daily from mid-May through Labor Day.
