Busy park weekend- Cypress Gardens and Astroworld

Going to be an interesting week, that's for sure. We have Thursday off from school this week for Yom Kippur, so we're taking the kids to Cypress Gardens, the last park in the area that we haven't been to yet outside of Disney (sorry, just can't afford the $1000+ that we'd spend on that one yet) I'm really looking forward to it as I've heard good things about the park, and I'm excited about how well it's doing.

Then I'm going to top it off with a solo (sort of) trip to Houston to visit Six Flags Astroworld. With the park closing in a couple of weeks for good, I knew my chance to visit it was slipping away and figured I never would. But after a couple of others in the Florida Coaster club mentioned they were going to go, I actually managed to convince my wife to let me go! So I'm flying out Saturday morning, staying all day at the park, then flying back home to Florida Sunday morning. Enough time to visit, ride and see everything, meet a couple of URC's for the first time and have some fun.

It's going to be a great weekend!
