Polk County, FL — LEGOLAND® Florida visitors will be ordering Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and other Pepsi soft drink and beverage brands when the new Central Florida theme park debuts next Fall. Today, the park announced they've reached a multi-year agreement making Pepsi Beverages Company the first official partner of the theme park and the official beverage supplier.
"This partnership is the beginning of a tremendous relationship between LEGOLAND Florida and Pepsi," said LEGOLAND General Manager, Adrian Jones. "We are excited to welcome PBC into the LEGOLAND family, and know that the partnership between these two quality brands will be a great success for both companies."
"LEGOLAND Florida will be an important addition to the tourism landscape, and at Pepsi, we're thrilled to be in on the ground-level of such an enormous endeavor," said Tom Shull, vice president of foodservice in PBC's Southeast Business Unit. "When the doors open, LEGOLAND Florida guests will be able to enjoy the Park experience with a cold Pepsi beverage in hand."
The agreement calls for Pepsi brands to be served exclusively in the 150-acre theme park and Pepsi Beverages Company will provide significant marketing funds to help promote LEGOLAND in several region-wide promotional campaigns. Pepsi and their beverages will also be featured throught the theme park.
