Hard Rock ParkMyrtle Beach, SC -- In less than two weeks the brand-new Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach will open its doors to the public for a "Sound Check" or soft opening. During the three-week "rehearsal" visitors will be able to check out what the world's first rock 'n' roll theme park has to offer.

During the three week "Sound Check" the park will operate from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Each evening of the soft opening, visitors will be able to try out Hard Rock Park's rides, shows and attractions for the first time.

Admission for "Sound Check" will be $40 for all ages and includes a $10 meal voucher that can be used at any of the restaurant locations in the park for the purchase of food. Children 3 and under are admitted free.

"Our restaurants are all unique and are a part of the whole entertainment experience, said Dale Kaetzel, general manager. "We're encouraging everyone to get a taste of the Park during Sound Check."

The park will offer expanded hours of 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on April 26, 27 and May 3 and 4. Admission on those weekends will be $50 for all ages.

Hard Rock Park is also promoting the park's Annual Pass. Visitors who attend "Sound Check" can apply $30 of their ticket price towards the purchase of an Annual Pass. As a bonus, all Annual Passes purchased during the soft opening will be valid until May 8, 2009.
