Myrtle Beach, SC -- A pothole or patch of mud may have caused a crane to topple over onto one of the new roller coasters at the Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach.
According to Hard Rock officials, the crane slowly fell, so the operator was able to safely get out and watch it go.
No one was injured in the incident.
The fallen crane landed on a section of the Midnight Rider steel roller coaster.
There were no reports of any significant damage, but officials said that construction will be halted for a day or two while construction crews await the arrival of another crane to pick up the toppled one.
