Silver Dollar City Debuts $6-Million Swinging Thrill Ride

Branson, MO -- Mid-America's most acclaimed theme park Silver Dollar City debuts its newest thrill ride The Giant Swing, a $6 million ride that launches riders more than seven stories in the air -- and nearly upside down -- at roller- coaster speeds. The Giant Swing, opening at the 1880s-style theme park near Branson, Mo., is the first ride of its kind to be highly themed.
