Pigeon Forge, TN – Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer along with daily operation of Dollywood's Splash Country.
The 30-acre water park's sixth season welcomes the new Fire Tower Falls™, two 70-foot-tall free-fall speed slides. Riders are propelled on a 280-foot track for a journey through the treetops that comes to an end with a major splash into a 140-foot water-filled lane.
Dollywood's Splash Country also features Bear Mountain Fire Tower™, an interactive water adventure area; Big Bear Plunge™ a high-speed white water rafting ride; the Downbound Float Trip, a relaxing lazy river; Mountain Waves 25,000-sq.-ft. wave pool; Soaker Springs, an interactive children's play area; and many more attractions to entertain the entire family.
