California State Investigators Close Rides After Accident

Vallejo, CA - A women fell from The Starfish ride at Six Flags Marine World suffering minor injuries last weekend. According to reports state investigators are focusing on a possible malfunction in the rides lap bar restraint.

The Starfish is a spinning ride called the Wipeout that is manufactured by Chance Rides. As a result of the accident state investigators have asked Knott's and another park to cease operation of their rides until the investigation is complete.
