San Francisco, CA -- The San Francisco Museum & Historical Society will unveil a new exhibit titled Amusing America dedicated to Amusement Parks and Attractions on August 5.
The show will combine murals, interactivity and historical displays to educate the audience. Amusing America will look at the origin of the amusement park and the technology around the icons of the parks, including roller coasters and the famous Ferris wheel.
The two-year show co-presented by the San Francisco Public Library and the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services the will be located at Fisherman's Wharf on Pier 45. Admission is free.
