Premier Parks To Reopen Magic Springs Amusement Park

Local newspapers in Arkansas have reported that Magic Springs Amusement Park will re-open for the year 2000 operating season. The State Legislature has passed the bills necessary to allow for $27 million in bonds to be spent on the redevelopment of the park.

The reopening of Magic Springs will mean the revival of the Arkansas Twister, a standing-but-not-operating classic wooden roller coaster.

According to local news sources, Magic Springs when it reopens will be managed by Premier Parks, Inc., which currently operates the Six Flags Theme Parks chain and other independent amusement parks throughout the world.
