Popular Internet Web Site for Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks Announces New Internet Location
Los Angeles, Calif. -- The Ultimate Rollercoaster web site, one of the most popular web sites on roller coasters, theme parks and thrill rides, is moving to a new location on the Internet. The new web site will be located at http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com when it opens this August.
"I am very excited about the move. I feel the new domain name will give the site more deserved recognition," said Eric Gieszl, Webmaster of the Ultimate Rollercoaster. "The site has really grown and so has the popularity, so it is the right time for the move."
The Ultimate Rollercoaster is one of among hundreds of web sites dedicated to roller coasters and has attracted nearly 200,000 visitors since August 1996. The site features ride reviews, news, pictures, rollercoaster listings, and a popular interactive discussion board.
"I may be partial, but I think that this web site is fabulous," said Kiku Lani Iwata. Iwata is the producer of "Extreme Rides," "Wild Rides," and "Wild Rides 2," three popular Discovery Channel specials about theme parks and rollercoasters.
"The new location is going to give me the opportunity to expand the site and what it has to offer," said Gieszl. "I think visitors to the site or going to be pleased with the new site when it opens in August."
The Ultimate Rollercoaster receives is accessed more than 500 times a day. Visit the current site at http://home.earthlink.net/~egieszl/urc.html or the future home of the site at http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com.
