ULTIMATE ROLLERCOASTER #1 ROLLER COASTER WEB SITE FOR THIRD YEAR IN ONLINE POLL
In The Annual Poll Conducted by Amusement Link One Source, Ultimate Rollercoaster Was Honored With the Number One Spot for A Third Year In A Row
Rolling Hills, Calif. -- January 21, 2002 -- Ultimate Rollercoaster, the definitive online destination for roller coasters, theme parks and thrill rides was ranked the #1 roller coaster web site in an online poll for the third year in a row. Amusement Link One Source, which conducts the annual poll, asks its users to cast their vote for their favorite amusement park related Web site.
"It's an honor to continue to be recognized as the number one amusement park related Web site, said Eric Gieszl, president of Ultimate Rollercoaster. "The dedicated hard work, late nights and countless hours are not going unnoticed. I am just ecstatic to have the number one site for a third year in a row."
"I think the reason the Ultimate Rollercoaster is so successful and popular is because of how comprehensive it is," said Jared Costanza, editor of Amusement Link One Source. "People like to be able to get as much information as possible and Ultimate Rollercoaster delivers in a big way."
The annual Top Ten Poll conducted by Amusement Link One Source began in 1998. Since the start Ultimate Rollercoaster has ranked in the top ten every year and has been voted the number one site in the polls conducted in 1999, 2000 and again in 2001.
"The Top Ten Poll started a few years ago as a way to recognize the hard work that goes into these Web sites," said Costanza. "Many sites give awards to popular Web sites, but I thought a top ten list would be more fun and so far it’s been very successful."
Ultimate Rollercoaster (http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/) started in August 1996 and has grown to become the largest and one of the most popular Internet destinations for roller coasters and amusement parks. The site entertains and informs millions every year with the latest industry news, ride reviews, photos and community features.
