MF - how many times will you wait??

This is more of a question posed to people who will travel to visit CP this summer.

How many times do you plan to ride MF if the lines are approaching 2 hours or more?

I have thought about this. First, I am definitely getting to the park so early that I WILL be one of the very first people at the gate. My first wait for MF will be very short. If the lines get to be 2 hours long then I will probable ride MF only one other time. 3 hours or more and that first ride will be it. I think the crazy lines will provide a wonderful opportunity to get some serious ride time on the other coasters. Hey, I'd love to ride MF several times, but I'm not driving 9 hours and paying $35 to spend my whole day waiting in line - regardless of how good a coaster may be. --K

Hey KMAN- if you plan on visiting on a day other than Saturday in May, check around for Pepsi cans with a $13 off coupon. I've already got mine!

In response to the question though- I plan on going May 16th and hopefully shouldn't have to wait more than an hour. I'll probably ride it twice and then head back later in the season (last week of August) for some extra rides. I can't see the lines being 3 hours long..... despite the crowds, CP usually does a good job of keeping the lines moving.

Have fun- ray p.

I'll be there for coastermania :) so since there is ERT and that its a weekday (Friday) I don't anticipate waiting that long :) If the lines do get past the 2 hr point then you know somewhere in the park a coaster is a walkon :)

My plans are pretty much to get to it first thing in the morning and then ride it over and over as much as I can for 2-3 hours. That may be only 2 or 3 times, but it'd be enough, I'll be there 2 days anyway.
