Ok, for a definitive answer to the 54" -vs- 48" and why is it 6" different, go to www.Guidetothepoint.com and look under the millenium force forum for the same argument "Bernz" posed earlier today. They have all the info and ride ops even state why and how they come to those decisions on height...my case is closed.

Last year a 12 year old boy fell from the Drop Zone at PGA and was killed. They found no mechanical malfunction of the ride, and the cause of the accident is officially "unknown". Perhaps this incident was a contributing factor in the higher height requirement?
