SFGAd was great!

Besides most of the staff was out taking SAT's and the Waffle Cone stand by B&R still hasn't been painted the rest of the day was fine.

Some of the coasters were closed(SO WHAT) and Rolling Thunder wasn't greased yet. But the scream machine almost felt as good when in first opened. Besides that damn brake before the Boomerang Loop(funny I don't remember the double lood ever being called that before they added the brake)Maybe the brake was added for that purpose. Other than that it felt as intense as it was during its inception. Batman also was close to its intensity.

Um...i dont think rolling thunder gets greased until there's a special coaster event. The paint did shock me though. Batman needs some paint as well. Did GASM have the brake on after the first loop? It closed b4 i got to it. I wonder what the weather is gonna be like next weekend.

The trim brake right after the first loop on GASM was turned off saturday.

RT wasn't really supposed to be open they were really just testing it! Also I really could care less about a paint job, really as long as the coaster is running up to specs(it was slow cause I was on just the second run). Yes the trim brake was off but like I said that dreaded brake before the "boomerang" is never off!

I never knew that RT went into a boomerang. Well then Sone isn t the first looper LOL.

As for Greta, the first loop trim will not go on until daily operations, the block brake has always been there always used, and the following element was always called a boomerang.

K, your wrong! the brake before the boomerang was never used to its present extreme. Also jerky boy(ed) if I wrote that it was a typo(god get a life ed). Oh thanks for clearing up the boomerang issue!

I have been riding Greta since it opened, I have seen some weeks when she would getget stuck in that block and I have seen times when it flew through it. It has been inconsitant for at least 5 years now like that.

Now, I have a life, and if by calling someone names when they correct you is how you deal with things, you have a lot of growing up to do.

K First I didn't "like" the way you corrected me! so whatever. Second, that was my point regarding that damn brake run. But would the double element be considered a "boomerang" if there wasn't a brake before it? I don't think it would cause I have been on the damn thing when the brakes "seemed" to be off and the boomerang "effect" was nonexistent.

The element is a boomerang regardless of brakes or not. The element is found on many of the shuttle coasters. Sea Serpent, sidwinder as examples.

The brakes in all three Arrow 7 loopers before their boomerang elements has been used since they opened. By your obvious reference to Great America in your name, you should've also noticed it right before the boomerang on Shockwave, which ended up stopping the train due to a faulty sensor two days when I was there...

Anyway, CALM DOWN. Ed knows what he's doing, knows his coasters and has been on this board for as long as I can remember.

Dan your missing the point! Im talking about the damn brake before the so called "boomerang" never being as extreme when it first opened. I agree with ED regarding its inconsistency. But I don't agree that the Boomerang effect is pronounced when it flys through the brake. The effect is lost as far as im concerned. The train initiates through the first element too quickly to be "boomeranged" into the second element as "I" see it. Also are you talking about the prototype standup(shockwave) that was removed like after two years? Well if it was that was my FAV ride at the time, too short of a stay........

Damn you are Bull(headed) LOL. Shockwwave is the first of the three arrow loopers that were put in the SF Parks. That is at Great America and was the first and smaller of the 3. Then came Greta, and last was Viper at SFMM the largest of the three. Shockwave you talk about is now at SFAW and I still hate it LOL.

Anyway, that is your opinion on the boomerang effect, that is fine. It is not that of many others somove on with life and let this go.

Um no mr. bullhead, And thx for irrelevaant info about the arrow loopers(already knew the info) just wanted to confirm which SHOCKWAVE he was talking about! Second "I" enjoyed the shockwave. Third I really don't care if others disagree with this whole stupid "boomerang effect" issue, it is my take on it! please just end this annoyance mr. bull(head).
