Ok, I'll start with the new form SFDL:

The park has been clearing land and now has over 10 acres of land cleared, if this is for the new GCI woodie this coaster might be a mammoth. In other SFDL news all construction for 2000 has been finished including the Top Spin and the re-tracking of Predator.

PGA:

A lot of people are claiming to have seen blue prints for PGA's 2001 coaster, well they're are no blue prints(as of yet). I was so interested in the 172ft. clearane that they recieved I got a copy of it and it states that the ride(note: it doesn't say coaster)can be built as high as a 172ft. It says nothing about a 172ft. coaster. In my opinion these people that claim to have seen blue prints are just messing with us.

Unofficial Guide to SFDL

Your right, no one has yet seen any blue prints for PGA's next project. However, it was confirmed at the Stealth media day, that PGA would in fact be building another coaster for 2001. What the park objects to are the early speculations of a TA2K coaster, which they insist is simply not the case. Of course it's still much too soon to care really, but it's fun to speculate. It's funny, no one has mentioned the possibility of a Outer Limits:Flight of fear yet! LOL!

If you check out Screamscape and go to the PGA section, there's a link to the website that shows the county approval for a "new 172 ft. coaster" so this should most definetely be a coaster of some sort. I just went to Gues Relations the other day and there is a wonderful birds eye view of PGA looking down directly to the park at the background. What I saw that was interesting was that the spot from the railroad station all the way to Great America pkwy is a very straight piece of land, the length of it is longer than Greazed lightning from the tip of the first tower to the second so a launch coaster could be very possible. I wonder if they're going to use all that land though because it still remains fenced off. Rumors state it was sold to 3com but who knows, hopefully some/most of the land will be home to the new ride/coaster.
