If I owned magic springs; this would be my plan
Considering that the amusement side of the park is dying, if I were the manager for a day, here's my 5 year plan.
2014: completely renovate the amusement side of the park and add 2 flat rides; it currently looks like a 1980s fallout town because it has been let go and not kept up. There's actually a forest growing under the SLC gauntlet because they won't now it. (5 million), sell x coaster to elitch (3 million)
2015- replace x coaster with a giant inverted boomerang (like Goliath at SFNE, considering the last coaster besides x coaster was in 2004, and it and the other 2 were relocated. X coaster was the only coaster built first at the park.
2016- upgrade timberwood ampitheathre and host a world class concert, such as Bon jovi, Coldplay, brad paisley, Tim McGraw, train, maroon 5, etc.
2017: upgrade the water park to have bonzii slides like SF
2018: upgrade the water park to add a tornado slide
Total investment 17-25 million
Just my suggestion, my ideas to save a dying park.
